Cut and Paste with Netscape/Mozilla/Firefox
Mozilla based browsers, Firefox, Mozilla and Netscape, have enhanced security which disable keyboard cut and paste operations within the Microsoft Word look-a-like editor (unless you grant specific permission). Cut and Paste from the browser menu are unaffected. For more information on setting permission, please visit http://www.mozilla.org/editor/midasdemo/securityprefs.html. While Internet Explorer does not provide this security check and need any modifications, it is strongly recommended that a mozilla based browser be used in the administrative web site, as that is the primary development platform. There are no browser preferences or dependencies on the end user website.

Logging Website Traffic
An activity log is automatically generated for the website, keeping track of the date, session id, referring IP addresses, and page visited. This allows for some useful statistics about who, how long, and what website visitors are doing at your website. This information can currently be retrieved by request or by FTP and will be made available within the CMS in a later release.

What is a postkey?
A postkey is a special string of characters assigned to website visitors when they sign up for an email list. The combination of postkey and email address is used to verify the user identity to ensure against fradulant activity. Website visitors are given a copy of the postkey via a confirmation email when they sign up to an email list. The postkey is generated automatically by the website, regardless if the email recipient is created by a website visitor or from within the CMS. The postkey cannot be channged. If the website visitor loses the postkey, a CMS administrator must retrieve the postkey value from the CMS and email a copy of the postkey to the website visitor.

What does the email "Database is Down" email mean?
The CMS uses a database on the webserver to retrieve stored data to display to the website visitor. If, for any reason, that database is currently unavailable when a website visitor accesses the website, this email is delivered to the website administrator. You may get several copies of the email over a very short time frame, if the same visitor attempts to refresh the webpage unsuccessfully. If these errors occur repeatedly, contact me for assistance in finding the cause and correcting it.
