Definition: FAQ
FAQ: A list of frequently asked questions and their answers about a given subject. Vendors often display them on their Web sites for use as troubleshooting guidelines. FAQs are widely used to help people solve problems with the hardware and software they purchased.

Definition: Browser
Browser: The program that serves as your front end to the Web on the Internet. In order to view a site, you type its address (URL) into the browser's Location field; for example, www.computerlanguage.com, and the home page of that site is downloaded to you. The home page is an index to other pages on that site that you can jump to by clicking an underlined hyperlink or an icon. Links on that site may take you to other related sites.

CMS: A content management system (CMS) is a computer software system for organizing and facilitating collaborative creation of documents and other content. A content management system is frequently a web application used for managing websites and web content.

Definition: URL
URL: An Internet address (for example, http://www.computerlanguage.com/php/), usually consisting of the access protocol (http), the domain name (www.computerlanguage.com), and optionally the path to a file or resource residing on that server (php).

CSS: Cascading Style Sheets. Language used to describe how an HTML document should be formatted.

HTML: Hypertext Markup Language is the authoring software language used on the Internet's World Wide Web. HTML is used for creating World Wide Web pages.
